About Us

The Nappy Garden was an idea first thought out in October 2008 by myself, Lisa, and my mum, Yvonne. In May 2009 we made the thought come alive, when Yvonne opened up shop!
 Mother and daughter teams rock!
Between us we have 8 children, mum has 8 granchildren, and we both have a wide knowledge of cloth nappy's!

My job is mainly here, the internet and the face behind the emails and the orders. (though I'm partial to a bit of Yarn dyeing from time to time ;-)
Mum on the otherhand is the skilled artist that produces our beautfully handknitted cloth nappy covers!

Together, we are still learning new things everyday when it comes to using real nappies and being more eco aware, but, after alot of research, alot of experimenting and alot of fantastic advice, we are both very proud to welcome you to The Nappy Garden! .

Our promise ~

We will never pretend to know it all, we will never offer you advice unless we have trialed that advice personally. We will not only be selling nappies that we have tried and tested on our babies, mainly because our likes and dislikes may not be the same as yours. We sell a variety of nappies of all shapes and sizes, because that's just how our gorgeous babies come (and us too!), a variety of all shapes and sizes! What fits one baby, may not fit another baby, trial and error is all part of the fun of using cloth nappies! We will do our best to point you in the right direction!
